We will be closed from 12 midday on Tuesday 10th July 2018 for a countywide staff training session.

if you require emergency assistance please call 999

if you require urgent health advice please call SHROPDOC on 0333 222 66 55 who are providing an appointment service whilst this training takes place.

Please visit our Appointments page to see the changes we have made to booking of appointments.

If a GP or another member of our health care team believes you need hospital treatment or specialist care elsewhere, they will refer you on to the appropriate specialist.

All referrals, except re-referrals, are sent through the Referral Assessment Service(RAS). The RAS team will contact you once they have received the referral to offer you the opportunity to select a Hospital of your choice for treatment. You will also be able to book your appointment at this time, if one is available; if there are no appointments available then you will be put onto that Hospital's waiting list and will be contacted directly by them in due course.

Your GP should give you a form explaining where your referral has gone and giving details of any action you need to take.

It is important that we have up to date contact details for you in order for this to happen. Could you please check that we have your home and mobile telephone numbers where applicable as well as your current address at the time of referral.
